Lately I've been reaching out of my comfort zone (literally) with the help of friends. Social support can help you achieve things you didn't feel strong enough to do yourself. I’ve always enjoyed sports but I’m quite scared of heights. I went rock climbing with my friends recently, and I surprisingly actually started to really enjoy it! I was fearful and my legs were shaking on my first route up, but it got less scary as the night went on; by the end, I found myself smiling while climbing and having a lot of fun. I plan to be back to complete some tougher routes. I finished a 5.10c, so now I have something to measure myself against. It’s one of those moments where I truly got to experience a bit of what I do with my clients: help them out of their comfort zone to accomplish things they want to achieve.
